Our Young Cricketers Shine at the Angels Heart National Inter-School Cricket Tournament!

We are proud to announce that our students delivered an outstanding performance at the Angels Heart National Inter-School Cricket Tournament, held on 22nd August 2025. Competing against some of the finest school teams from across the country, our players showcased not only their skill and determination but also their teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

After a series of thrilling matches, our team secured the position of 1st Runner-Up, a remarkable achievement that reflects their hard work, discipline, and passion for the game.

A special round of applause goes to Nilaya K.C., who was awarded Man of the Match for his stellar performance on the field. His focus, confidence, and contribution proved vital in the team’s success.

We also extend heartfelt congratulations to Shubhranshu Shrestha and Prajwal Adhikari for their brilliant performances, which energized the team and kept the spirit alive until the very end.

Students from Grades 6 to 10 of Brihaspati Vidyasadan School recently visited the 5th QKS Art Exhibition 2025, held at the Nepal Art Council, Babarmahal.
The visit offered a vibrant opportunity for students to immerse themselves in diverse artistic expressions, explore contemporary and traditional artworks, and gain a deeper appreciation for Nepal’s rich artistic culture.

BVS Plus 2 Induction Program Successfully Conducted

The BVS Plus 2 Induction Program, held from July 28 to August 1, 2025, was a resounding success! Designed to prepare students for a fulfilling academic journey, the program featured expert-led sessions on essential life and academic skills.

Highlights included:

  • Presentation Skills by Mr. Shubhanjan Paudel
  • Career Counselling by Mr. Bikrant Shrestha (Director, EduQuest Nepal)
  • Emotional Intelligence by Mr. Prashant Shrestha and Ms. Chandni Ghimire (Co-founders, VAAV Wellbeing)
  • Academic Writing by Mr. Mahendra Joshi

Students engaged deeply with each session, gaining insights that will empower them both inside and outside the classroom. The week-long event laid a strong foundation for their Plus 2 journey.

BVS Plus 2 Orientation at Mystic Mountain

The BVS Plus 2 Orientation at the serene Mystic Mountain was a vibrant and memorable kickoff for our new students. The day was packed with fun activities, bonding moments, and valuable insights into the school’s values. Hosted with great energy and creativity by Mr. Shubhanjan Paudel, the event featured engaging improvisations and interactive sessions that brought students together in laughter and learning. From ice-breakers to team games, the experience laid a strong foundation for the exciting journey ahead—marked by friendship, discovery, and growth in the heart of nature.

Guru Purnima Celebration at BVS

On July 10, Brihaspati Vidyasadan joyfully celebrated Guru Purnima; a day dedicated to honoring the guiding lights of our lives: our Gurus. The celebration was a beautiful tribute to the timeless bond between students and teachers, filled with gratitude, performances, and joyful expressions.

The event featured:

  • Cultural performances by students showcasing music, dance, and poetry in reverence to their mentors
  • Fun games and interactive activities that brought students and teachers together in laughter and camaraderie
  • A serene atmosphere of reflection and respect, reminding everyone of the values of learning, wisdom, and humility

With heartfelt participation and a spirit of celebration, the day reinforced the deep-rooted cultural significance of Guru Purnima in the BVS community.

Investiture Ceremony

On May 21, 2025 at the BVS ground, the Investiture Ceremony marked the beginning of a new leadership journey. The former student captain proudly presented the badges to the newly elected leaders, encouraging them to lead with vision and unity. Principal Kumar Thapa also acknowledged the dedication of the outgoing team. With their oaths taken, our new captains stepped into their roles with confidence and purpose.

Election for the New BVS Leaders

On May 16, 2025 Brihaspati Vidyasadan School held a democratic election on its premises for students of Grades 8, 9, and 10 to elect the school captain and vice captain. The program was designed to encourage active student involvement, nurture leadership qualities, and cultivate civic responsibility.
