An MBA from Kathmandu University School of Management she has 18 + years of experience altogether with over 12 years in Human Resource Management. She started her career in Advertising and further moved to Banking wherein her experience diversified in Marketing, Retail Credit, Communication and Human Resource Management. She has been in Education sector for the past 7 years now and currently manages the Human Resource Department of BVS. A firm believer in human values and equity in organization she has set off to set the purpose of being in BVS.
Mr Tejendra Lamsal has over 20 years of experience in the school education sector. He has strong command in teaching English at the high school level. Both students, parents and teachers find him very approachable and solution-oriented. He is receiving his training in STEAM education from KU.
Ms Kamana Shah is a certified ECEC preschool teacher trainer. Her journey in the field of education started in 1993 when she helped her friend set up a preschool. She then joined The British School in 1997, which helped her immensely to enhance her professional experience. Her dream was to join a local school in the process of transitioning into a progressive setup and found that opportunity at BVS. She has completed almost 4 years at BVS and hopes to continue to make teaching and learning meaningful for our students and teachers.
Mr Ishwori P Gyawali has over 22 years of experience in the school sector and began his career as a Social Studies teacher. He liaises between parents, teachers, and in-charges to resolve student-related issues. He plays an instrumental role in helping manage students’ behavior and works in close collaboration with the school’s psychosocial counselor.
Mr. Thakur Prasad Amgain started his career as a teacher and later took up psychosocial counseling and psychotherapeutics as his mainstream profession. Since 2009, he has taken the role of the psychosocial counselor at BVS, wherein he works with teachers, parents, and students on emotional/psychosocial issues. He has received training from several institutions, including the National Institute of Psychology and the Education Ministry, to strengthen his work at the school.
With over 25 years of experience in teaching/managing extra-curricular activities at the school level, Mr Balkrishna Sharma has also served as an official at the SAFF games. He has previous experience of working as a performance coach and has also done courses in sports science. With his wide experience in hiking/trekking, Mr Sharma has a practical understanding of outdoor education.
Ms Ayushma Regmi is a writer and educator with over a decade of experience in teaching, teacher training, and curriculum development. She is trained as an experiential educator and uses integrated, self-reflexive practices to help teachers learn, grow, and expand their skills. At BVS, she works with the teachers, mentoring and supporting them to make teaching-learning more effective for the overall development of students.
Mr Suresh Kafle has been working at BVS for the last 8 years. He enjoys being able to help students to learn and develop. His standards of work and duty are high, and he has contributed to creating a positive work culture in the school. He is currently pursuing a degree in law
Ms Milan Bista has worked with various business organizations and educational institutions in managerial and leading capacities over the last 10 years. Her track record shows her commitment to bringing positive changes in the education sector by actively undertaking roles that allow her to contribute towards it. Besides devoting full-time to her job in educational institutes, Milan has also been conducting training and development programs—specializing in English language, communication skills, and public speaking—for over 6 years.
With 25+ years of experience in teaching and education management, Mr Kumar Thapa is a noted
teacher education expert and certified parenting facilitator. His experience ranges from working with
kindergarten students to students of all levels, including those at the masters level. He has also offered
corporate workshops, training to government officers, and consultation to school leadership for whole
school development across Nepal. Everything he does or says as the head of school centers around
student development. His flair in leading organizational change along with deep insights on futuristic
education makes him a dynamic education leader.
